Type:

full-time Our client is looking for a Senior Accountant. The role is close to Hammond, IN. Onsite for about 60-90 days then Hybrid (only 1-2 day in office) The role will have broad exposure across accounting, including AP, billing, collections, month-end close, reconciliations, and general ledger activities. The ideal candidate is someone who is comfortable wearing multiple hats, staying organized, and jumping in wherever needed to keep the accounting function running smoothly. A major component of the opportunity is the long-term succession plan to grow into Mgmt.

Responsibilities:

Support the day-to-day accounting operations for the company Assist with monthly close, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting Oversee/support AP, billing, collections, and cash-related activities Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and accounting records Assist with payroll and accounting system conversions as the company continues integrating. Partner directly with the CFO. Help organize processes, documentation, and files to keep the accounting function running efficiently Take on increasing responsibility with the goal of progressing into Mgmt.

Qualifications:

3+ years of progressive accounting experience. Comfortable working in a lean, hands-on compsny Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities QuickBooks experience

Required Compensation:

$105,000 starting salary
