Job Description

Our client is seeking a talented Pastry Chef to lead a high-volume pastry and bakery operation within a premier entertainment and hospitality destination. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative, hands-on leader who can develop an exceptional team while delivering memorable desserts across restaurants, banquets, special events, and large-scale production. Pastry Chef Benefits Competitive compensation package Performance-based bonus opportunity Medical, dental, and vision benefits Paid time off Retirement benefits Career advancement opportunities High-profile culinary and entertainment environment Opportunity to lead and develop a dedicated pastry team Pastry Chef Requirements & Qualifications 3-5+ years of professional pastry or baking experience, including leadership experience Experience in a high-volume restaurant, hotel, resort, casino, banquet, or catering environment Strong knowledge of classical and contemporary pastry and baking techniques Proven ability to hire, train, coach, and develop pastry professionals Experience managing food cost, labor, ordering, inventory, and production Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards ServSafe or equivalent food safety certification Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operation Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, and special events Pastry Chef Preferred Background & Skills Casino, luxury hotel, resort, or large entertainment venue experience Advanced chocolate work, sugar artistry, cake decorating, and plated dessert experience Large-scale banquet, catering, and special event production Strong balance of high-volume production and refined presentation Recipe development and menu planning experience Creative seasonal dessert and product development Strong understanding of food and labor costs Purchasing, inventory, and vendor management experience Production forecasting and workload planning Culinary degree or professional pastry training preferred Additional Information This is an ideal opportunity for a pastry leader who wants ownership of a diverse, high-volume operation while maintaining the creativity to develop new desserts and seasonal offerings.
