+ Bonus We're partnering with a well-established manufacturing company in Louisville that is looking to add a Senior Accountant to its finance team. Reporting to the Corporate Controller, this person will take ownership of the month-end close process for multiple locations, support financial reporting, coordinate the external audit, and serve as a key finance partner to operations. This is a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys a broad accounting role, wants visibility with leadership, and likes working closely with plant operations. What You'll Be Doing Lead month-end close activities for facilities in Louisville, Boston, and Texas Prepare journal entries, accruals, allocations, and general ledger reconciliations Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve variances Assist with monthly financial reporting and management reporting packages Analyze operating results and investigate financial variances Partner with plant managers and operations leaders to better understand expenses and business performance Manage fixed assets and related reporting Oversee corporate credit card accounting and expense reporting activities Coordinate the annual external audit process, including gathering support and managing auditor requests Support process improvements and reporting initiatives that improve financial visibility across the business What They're Looking For Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Approximately 5+ years of accounting experience Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles Hands-on experience with: Month-end close Journal entries Account reconciliations Financial reporting General ledger accounting Advanced Excel skills Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with operations and leadership Nice to Have Manufacturing experience Sage ERP experience Audit support experience Multi-site accounting experience Why This Role Stands Out High visibility within a lean finance organization Direct exposure to the Controller, Assistant Controller, and CFO Broad ownership across multiple facilities Strong onboarding and knowledge transfer plan already in place Stable manufacturing environment with a collaborative culture One remote day per week after training Compensation & Benefits Base salary up to $90,000 DOE Performance-based bonus opportunities Medical, dental, and vision benefits Two weeks PTO Sick time Business casual work environment If you are interested in this job or other Accounting and Finance career opportunities from LHH Recruitment Solutions (pka Parker
