Job Description:
Job Overview The Senior Accounting Manager will be a hands-on accounting leader responsible for the month-end close, financial reporting, technical accounting, internal controls, and team development within a manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Own the month-end and year-end close, including accruals, journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting packages. Prepare and review consolidated financial statements and monthly management reporting. Handle technical accounting matters, including GAAP/IFRS, leases, intercompany transactions, and inventory accounting. Analyze financial results, variances, and trends and provide insight to leadership. Maintain and strengthen internal controls and support compliance requirements. Coordinate with internal and external auditors and support tax compliance activities. Partner with international accounting teams on consolidation and reporting. Lead, mentor, and develop accounting team members while maintaining a hands-on approach. Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting efficiency. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA required. 3+ years of people leadership experience. Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS. Consolidation and month-end close experience strongly preferred. Strong Excel and ERP skills; SAP experience preferred. Excellent communication, organization, problem-solving, and technical accounting skills. Demonstrated ability to take ownership, manage multiple priorities, and drive continuous improvement.
