An Accountant organizes and maintains financial records and prepares financial statements for companies and organizations. Works as a public accountant (prepares financial documents where public disclosure is required by law, such as business balance sheets and tax returns), management accountant (prepares financial information for internal use by a company) or government accountant (maintains records for government agencies).

Key Responsibilities :
Review and post sales, including cash and credit card reconciliations Prepare daily reconciliation of operating accounts Prepare monthly closing journal entries Review and validate store inventory Analytical review of balance sheet accounts to ensure balances are supported and seem reasonable Accurate and timely supporting schedules Provide high level of customer service to operations Produce reports to upper management upon request
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting is strongly preferred Demonstrated professionalism and in-depth knowledge of accounting principles Strong computer skills and competence utilizing Microsoft Office products Excellent interpersonal skills, able to communicate in an effective and courteous manner with customers (internal and external) Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work independently Ability to do financial analysis, critical thinking, and prepare projections
Physical Demands:
<5% of time spent pulling files, which requires the ability to squat and lift approximately 5-15 lbs; >95% of time spent working at a desk

Two years accounting experience.
