This is a Part Time paid internship position Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm. 20-30 hours a week The Accounting Intern provides financial and clerical support to Newman Regional Health as a temporary, entry level accounting position. This position practices accounting knowledge and skills in a professional setting under the supervision of the Controller.

Essential Functions:

Provide support for the accounting department Participate in the preparation of journal entries and financial reports Analyze financial data Assist with general accounting month-end closing procedures Complete special projects as needed and other duties assigned Skills & Abilities Education-Bachelor's Degree required with Field of Study in Accounting Recent graduate or in the process of completing an Accounting degree
