Multi-family Portfolio Accountant Corporate Overview:
Asset Management Group is one of the fastest growing commercial and multifamily property management firms in the Kansas City metro area.Job Overview:
This is a full-time on-site role for a Portfolio Accountant at Asset Management Group located in Overland Park, KS. The Portfolio Accountant will be responsible for managing financial statements, invoices, cash flow, as well as analyzing financial data and preparing reports.Duties:
Reconciling Bank accounts for all properties in portfolio. Managing all accounts payable for the properties in portfolio. Recording payments and managing tenant ledgers. Preparing monthly reports for all properties in portfolio. Effectively communicating with accounting team and property managers. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis Experience in multifamily real estate accounting is a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication and interpersonal skillsYardi Experience Preferred Position Type:
This is a full-time position. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.Benefits include:
