Job Description

Kentucky Oil and Refining Company has an opening for a Senior Accountant . This position involves working with affiliated companies Universal Total Lubricants, Inc. and Cardinal Country Stores. The ideal candidate will have experience and/or be familiar with the following:
  • Bank Statement Reconciliation.
  • Journal Entries
  • Account Reconciliation
  • Sales Tax Returns
  • Insurance Renewals (General Liability, Workers' Compensation, and Employee Benefits)
  • Intercompany Transactions
  • Sales Reporting
  • Commission Calculations
  • Budgeting and Projections The ideal candidate will have experience with Microsoft Excel beyond copying and pasting.
We work with a large variety of programs, platforms, and web portals; versatility is a must. Keen attention to detail is essential. We are looking for someone who is reliable and trustworthy. Once trained, this person will need to stay on task and complete jobs independently. Must work well in shared spaces and have good communication skills. Proficient in accounting principles, gained through 4
  • 5 years of relevant experience or an accounting degree.
