$40,000-$60,000 per year Auto Smart of Campbellsville is seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and financially experienced Automotive Dealership Comptroller to join our team. We are looking for someone with solid accounting skills, preferably with an accounting degree or strong accounting background. Previous automotive dealership accounting experience is highly preferred and would be a major advantage. What You'll Do Oversee the dealership's day-to-day accounting and financial operations Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable Prepare and review monthly financial statements and reports Perform bank and general ledger reconciliations Monitor cash flow and dealership financial activity Manage payroll-related accounting and reporting Review vehicle deals and ensure accurate accounting entries Maintain accurate general ledger accounts Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures Maintain dealership accounting records and supporting documentation Work closely with dealership ownership and management Help ensure compliance with established accounting procedures and internal controls Coordinate with outside accountants, banks, vendors, and other financial partners as needed What We're Looking For Strong accounting and bookkeeping skills Accounting degree or accounting background preferred Automotive dealership accounting experience highly preferred Experience with financial statements, general ledger, A/P, A/R, and reconciliations Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organizational and time-management skills Ability to handle confidential financial information professionally Comfortable working independently and meeting deadlines Strong computer and accounting software skills Dependable, professional, and team-oriented Compensation $40,000-$60,000 per year, based on experience, qualifications, and automotive dealership accounting background.
