Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and providing strategic financial guidance.
Responsibilities:
Lead month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations. Analyze financial statements and investigate variances, trends, and discrepancies. Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial data. Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements. Participate in special projects and creates ad-hoc analysis.
Ideal Background:
3+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong month-end close experience Journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and financial statement knowledge Advanced Excel skills Manufacturing experience is highly preferred but not required CPA, CMA, or MBA is a plus (NOT required)
