We are seeking a Consulting Senior Accountant with expertise in System Clean-up & Reconciliations. This role will play a critical part in our ongoing mission to streamline and improve our financial processes, ensuring the highest level of accuracy and efficiency. The successful candidate will have a strong background in healthcare accounting, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead system clean-up efforts, identifying and resolving discrepancies, to ensure data accuracy and integrity. 2. Perform monthly reconciliations of bank statements, patient files, and other financial data. 3. Conduct thorough audits of financial processes and systems, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions. 4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize and streamline financial processes and systems. 5. Implement ERP systems, providing training and support to team members as needed. 6. Act as a business analyst, interpreting financial data and providing insights to inform strategic decision-making. 7. Ensure compliance with healthcare industry regulations and standards in all financial processes and systems. 8. Provide accurate, timely financial reports to management, highlighting key trends and issues. 9. Participate in process improvement initiatives, leveraging your expertise to drive efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or MBA preferred. 2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior accounting role, preferably within the healthcare industry. 3. Proven experience in system clean-up, reconciliations, and process improvement. 4. Proficiency in ERP implementation and data entry. 5. Strong understanding of healthcare industry regulations and standards. 6. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data. 7. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. 8. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. 9. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial team members. 10. Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues. 11. Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
