The Accounting Intern is responsible for assisting Accounts Payable for both locations. This individual must stay knowledgeable of each department within MSS to be proficient in all operational functions and responsibilities. The intern supports Accounts Payable and special projects as requested. Assists AP clerk and company personnel as necessary and maintains a high level of professionalism and internal/external customer service. ing others in this business unit learn proper procedures is a vital part of making this company succeed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Code/Post Expense Payables. manage MSS AP Mailbox. Manage vendor statements. Manage Store Use Tickets. Manage and request credit from select vendors in accordance with our special pricing agreements. manage vendor invoices.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Education and Experience:
High School Diploma required. Minimum two years in College with focus in Accounting. Customer service experience Proficiency with Microsoft products required. Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Excellent oral and written communication skills Organization Problem solving skills. Dependability is required.
