Overview Join our dynamic team as a Tag and Title Clerk Specialist, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth processing of vehicle documentation and registration tasks. This energetic position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with dealership operations, vehicle inventory management, and customer service. Your expertise will help streamline the registration, titling, and tagging processes, contributing to efficient dealership workflows and exceptional customer experiences. Duties Prepare, review, and process vehicle titles, registrations, tags, and related documentation accurately and efficiently. Verify all paperwork for compliance with state and federal regulations related to vehicle registration and titling. Coordinate with DMV offices, insurance companies, and other agencies to ensure timely processing of documents. Maintain organized records of all transactions, ensuring data accuracy and easy retrieval for audits or inquiries. Assist customers with questions regarding registration status, title transfers, or tag issuance in a professional and friendly manner. Manage inventory control of tags, plates, and registration materials to prevent shortages or discrepancies. Support dealership staff with administrative tasks related to vehicle documentation and compliance requirements. Requirements Previous experience in automotive repair or dealership environments is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of inventory management, retail math, and retail sales processes. Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle public speaking engagements or customer interactions confidently. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer bases effectively. Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail for handling multiple documentation tasks simultaneously. Experience with administrative functions such as cashiering or phone etiquette enhances your success in this role. Familiarity with automotive industry standards, including dealership experience or public speaking skills related to sales management or outbound sales. Pay:
$17.00 - $22.50 per hour
