What You'll Do As a Public Accountant, you'll receive hands-on experience in both accounting and tax services while working directly with experienced CPAs and partners.
Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing individual, business, and fiduciary tax returns Assisting with bookkeeping and accounting services for small businesses Preparing financial statements and adjusting journal entries Reconciling bank and balance sheet accounts Assisting with payroll and sales tax reporting Communicating with clients to answer questions and request information Learning tax planning strategies and consulting techniques Participating in client meetings and developing long-term client relationships Every day brings new opportunities to learn and expand your accounting knowledge. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in accounting (or expected completion soon) Minimum 1 year of accounting experience (public accounting preferred) Working knowledge of QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel Strong organizational and communication skills A positive attitude and willingness to learn Desire to grow into a trusted accounting professional CPA eligibility or pursuit is a plus but not required.
