WeeklyRESPONSIBILITIES
The Senior Accountant will support accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controls.Responsibilities include:
Prepare and review monthly journal entries and general ledger reconciliations. Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities. Analyze financial results, variances, and trends. Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and supporting schedules. Reconcile bank accounts, prepaid expenses, accruals, fixed assets, and other balance sheet accounts. Support accounts receivable, accounts payable, and cash management processes as needed. Monitor customer contract terms and support accurate accounting and billing practices. Assist with internal financial reports and management reporting. Support annual audits, tax preparation, and compliance activities. Assist with internal controls and accounting procedures. Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiency. Work with department managers and operational leadership to support business objectives. Provide guidance to accounting staff and assist with training. Complete special projects, reporting, and other accounting duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience. Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and accounting principles. Experience with general ledger accounting, reconciliations, financial reporting, and month-end close. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, and financial analysis. Experience with ERP and accounting software preferred. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise professional judgment.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS CPA, CPA
candidate, or equivalent professional certification. Experience with multi-location or service-based organizations. Experience with large customer accounts and contract billing. Familiarity with revenue recognition concepts.JOIN IPSC
