Tax Accountant

Our client a well respected public accounting firm in Holyoke, MA is seeking multiple Tax Accountants on a direct hire basis. As a Tax Accountant, you will play a crucial role in providing professional tax services to our clients. This position offers an opportunity to work with a diverse range of people and businesses in Western Massachusetts, from new ventures to well-established firms in several different industries. The client is looking for someone with 0-4 years of tax experience who is driven to succeed and provide top level service to clients with both their personal and business taxes.

Responsibilities:

Prepare individual, S-Corp, partnership, and other various tax returns for a diverse group of clients Track Tax Return progress in XCM Prepare corporate, individual, partnership and other various returns for a diverse group of clients Manage client relationships and satisfaction through open communication and follow up

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required 150 Credit Hours (As required for the CPA Exam) or demonstrated pursuit of 150 credit hours Strong problem-solving, logic and reasoning capabilities Excellent analytical, organizational, and written/verbal communication skills A demonstrated ability to remain organized and prioritize under time-sensitive and challenging conditions Strong work ethic and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment If you are passionate about tax accounting and possess the required skills, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity or reach out to JMT Staffing Solutions directly at 781-558-2589 for more information.
