Staff Accountant
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process a large volume of customer invoices with a strong focus on accuracy and completion within required timelines.
- Use ERP to support billing activities and maintain organized, up-to-date transaction records.
- Review invoice details for completeness, correct discrepancies, and follow up as needed to resolve billing issues efficiently.
- Partner with accounting and operational teams to ensure customer invoicing aligns with supporting documentation and internal requirements.
- Track invoicing activity and provide basic reporting or spreadsheet support using Excel to assist with daily accounting needs.
- Assist with additional accounting-related assignments as business priorities shift during the contract period. Requirements
- Experience handling high-volume invoicing in an accounting or finance environment.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems for transaction processing or invoice-related tasks.
- Familiarity with purchasing, billing, or accounts-related workflows.
- Basic Excel skills, including the ability to organize data and support routine reporting tasks.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and correct billing discrepancies.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a contract role.
