Immediately Job Description Pilgrim Area Collaborative is a public educational collaborative that serves students with a wide range of disabilities from primary through post-secondary levels from all over the South Shore. This is a full year, part-time position (20 hours/week - 4 hours a day) to start ASAP. Please note, this position requires extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel and a strong financial/mathematical background.
ACCOUNTING ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Qualifications:
1. High School Diploma 2. Experience in basic office procedures 3. Proficiency in computer operations, to include knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook and 365 4. Ability to demonstrate flexibility, diplomacy, confidentiality, and excellent organizational skills Reports to: Director of Finance and Operations
Job Goal:
To assist the Director of Finance and Operations in administering the business affairs of the Collaborative. Performance Responsibilities
General:
Maintains payroll ledgers. Preparation of all accounts payable checks. Preparation of monthly financial reports (balance sheet, statement of income & expenses and other computer-generated reports) to the Treasurer. Maintains current student list and processes student tuition billing. Maintains accounts receivable information and corresponds with districts to ensure timely payment of invoices. Create teacher and state retirement reports and submit deduction reports to MTRS and State Retirement online. Processes all reimbursable, professional services and other miscellaneous billing. Reconciles various bank accounts. Other All duties as assigned by the Director of Finance and Operations and the Executive Director. Follow all rules and regulations as required by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE).
