Full Time Summary:
Performs a variety of accounting, external reporting, and customer service duties in conformance with established Bank policies, procedures, and strategies. Employees in this area must be detail-oriented, self-starters with the ability to produce quality results, ability to multi-task while adhering to deadlines and possess good organizational and communication skills. Primary Responsibilities Maintain general ledger Reconcile and balance general ledger accounts Prepare general ledger entries, including month-end entries Process wire transfers Calculate the daily cash position Prepare Board and Regulatory Reports Process Fixed Assets and Prepaids Support month-end close process Investment processing Gather data for internal and external audits Assist with Accounts Payable as needed Process tax payments General Responsibilities Respond to and resolve internal and external customer inquiries Cross-train and backup department functions Maintain bank and vendor records Maintain department procedures as needed Assist other department members as needed Assist with Records Retention Perform a variety of administrative support duties as required Promote and demonstrate a positive work atmosphere Other duties as assigned by Management Knowledge/Skills Requirements Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance or related field required Proficiency in MS Excel Working knowledge of other Microsoft Office products Basic understanding of Accounting principles Banking experience is a plus Physical Demands Moves/walks around Bank location, including between levels or floors while performing duties. Sitting at desk or computer workstation for periods of time. Hand dexterity required to operate computer terminal and/or related equipment. Ability to lift twenty pounds. Role Requirements Valid driver's license Reliable registered, vehicle to travel between locations and for other business travel as needed Mobile phone, with text capability for two-factor authentication Must be able to relate to other people beyond giving and receiving instructions Must be able to get along with coworkers or peers without exhibiting behavioral extremes Display a willingness to receive and respond appropriately to feedback from supervisor Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions in person and in group settings with customers, vendors, and employees
