We are looking for a Senior Accountant to support core accounting activities for our plant operations in Wayland, Massachusetts. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, contributing to close activities, and delivering reporting that helps leaders understand business performance. The ideal candidate brings strong general ledger experience, solid analytical skills, and the ability to partner effectively with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing setting.

Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and post journal entries related to plant operations, including inventory, cost of goods sold, and accrualsPerform timely and accurate balance sheet account reconciliationsSupport month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness of plant financialsAssist in the preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements and plant performance reportsMaintain the integrity of the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded in accordance with GAAPMaintain financial performance metrics and KPIs, producing regular financial reports for management and stakeholdersWork closely with operations and supply chain teams to ensure accurate cost accounting and inventory valuationAssist with internal and external audits, providing supporting documentation and analysisIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency within the plant accounting function
