Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and post journal entries related to plant operations, including inventory, cost of goods sold, and accrualsPerform timely and accurate balance sheet account reconciliationsSupport month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness of plant financialsAssist in the preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements and plant performance reportsMaintain the integrity of the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded in accordance with GAAPMaintain financial performance metrics and KPIs, producing regular financial reports for management and stakeholdersWork closely with operations and supply chain teams to ensure accurate cost accounting and inventory valuationAssist with internal and external audits, providing supporting documentation and analysisIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency within the plant accounting function
