Job Description

Compensation and benefits The annual base salary range is $120,000-$130,000, plus a 10% annual bonus and 20% RSUs. Final compensation depends on experience, qualifications, business needs, and location. Our client is seeking an SEC Reporting Senior Accountant to support public company reporting, monthly close, technical accounting, audits, and internal controls. The role offers a potential path toward SEC Reporting Senior Manager over time. Key responsibilities Assist with SEC filings, including Forms 10-K and 10-Q, proxy materials, XBRL tagging, financial statement footnotes, and earnings releases. Prepare and review cash flow and stockholders' equity statements and support judgmental accounting and reconciliations during the close. Coordinate annual audit and quarterly review requests with external auditors, including GAAP checklists, financial analytics, and related party information. Research accounting and reporting topics such as leases, capitalized software, and stock based compensation. Document, assess, and improve internal controls and SOX compliance processes. Coordinate international audits and statutory filings under IFRS and local GAAP. Work with legal teams, auditors, investor relations, department leaders, and advisors to resolve reporting comments. Assess new accounting standards, support equity administration and stock compensation reporting, and improve accounting policies and processes. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting required; CPA preferred. At least three years of progressive accounting experience, including technical accounting, monthly close, and financial reporting. Corporate close and public accounting experience preferred. Strong analytical, communication, leadership, and project management skills. Experience with a Tier 1 ERP system such as Oracle, NetSuite, or SAP preferred. XBRL, ActiveDisclosure, DFIN, or Workiva experience is a plus; interest in equity and stock compensation tools is valued.
