This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career accounting professional looking to take ownership of core accounting responsibilities within a fast-growing manufacturing environment. Responsibilities:
Prepare and post journal entries as part of the monthly close Calculate and record accruals and maintain supporting documentation Maintain prepaid expense schedules and record monthly amortization Maintain the fixed asset register, including additions, disposals, and depreciation Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations and research reconciling items Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation for the annual audit Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities as needed Assist with documenting accounting procedures and identifying process gaps Support ad hoc reporting, analysis, and special accounting projects
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 1-3 years of accounting experience Working knowledge of GAAP and the month-end close process Public accounting experience is a plus ERP experience required Strong Microsoft Excel skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to communicate effectively and work in a fast-paced environment Eager to learn and take on additional ownership as the Finance team grows This position is 100% onsite in Middlesex County, MA. Compensation is $85k-$115k depending on experience, plus bonus. The company offers one of the most generous benefits package we have seen. #LI-GA1
