Senior Accountant CPA

Job DescriptionJob Description Senior Accountant Worcester, MA $65,000-$85,000 Salary Full-Time | Permanent Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM A well-established manufacturing company in Worcester is actively seeking a Senior Accountant to join their growing finance team. This is a fully onsite opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who has a strong foundation in accounting principles and is looking to make an impact in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

Support month-end close activities and monthly accounting cycle Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations Analyze financial variances and major expense accounts Assist with Sales & Use Tax compliance and filings Support annual audit activities Perform inventory cycle counts and discrepancy reviews Assist with cost accounting analysis including labor efficiencies and overhead spend Help maintain internal controls and financial reporting accuracy Participate in process improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting required 3+ years of accounting experience CPA preferred Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred Strong understanding of GAAP principles Experience with reconciliations, general ledger, and financial reporting Advanced Microsoft Excel skills preferred Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
