On-Site Salary:

$70,000–$80,000 A well-established construction company in the Mid-Atlantic is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its accounting team. This opening represents a true long-term opportunity within a stable, process-driven environment.

Staff Accountant Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (required). 1-3 years of accounting experience (or strong internship experience). Solid understanding of debits, credits, and accounting fundamentals. Construction or manufacturing accounting exposure is a plus. Experience with Viewpoint Vista is a plus. Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.

Staff Accountant Responsibilities:

Prepare and post journal entries. Apply cash receipts and support AR functions. Assist with billing for the manufacturing entity. Support fixed asset accounting, including capitalization and depreciation. Prepare and file sales and use tax returns. Support month-end close and general ledger activities. Work closely with the Controller and Senior Staff Accountant on daily accounting operations.
