Senior Accountant

A privately held investment and operating company is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its lean, collaborative finance team. This position offers exposure to investment entities, private company accounting, cash management, financial reporting, and executive-level decision support. • Prepare and maintain financial statements for multiple entities
• Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analyses
• Maintain general ledger integrity and ensure compliance with GAAP
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and investment reporting
• Analyze financial trends, operating results, and key business metrics
• Assist with quarterly and annual reporting requirements
• Support tax workpaper preparation and coordination with external advisors Multi-Entity & Investment Accounting
• Maintain accounting records for various operating and investment entities
• Monitor cash balances and support treasury activities
• Prepare reports and analyses for ownership and management
• Assist with special projects, acquisitions, investments, and ad hoc financial analysis Administrative & Corporate Support
• Coordinate with outside professionals including attorneys, tax advisors, payroll providers, and financial institutions
• Support entity administration and maintenance of corporate records
• Assist with recurring documentation and compliance requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Approximately 3-7 years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
• Experience preparing financial statements and account reconciliations
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting systems
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
