Staff Accountant

Join my client's incredible facilities management firm as a Staff Accountant! They operate on a hybrid (2x in-person a week) schedule, have great work-life balance, and have great benefits! ResponsibilitiesPrepare and maintain accounting reports to support month‑end close and financial statement preparation.

Perform accounts receivable and accounts payable functions to support timely cash flow.

Prepare month‑end accruals to align revenue and expenses with the correct period.

Monitor recurring monthly revenue and maintain project‑level profitability tracking.

Manage purchase order workflows and assist with vendor and client setup in the accounting system.

Ensure timely payment of invoices and maintain accurate financial documentation.

Identify opportunities to reduce costs, enhance revenue, and improve process efficiency.

Prepare documentation for external audits or requests from financial institutions.

Review financial statements for accuracy and compliance.

Support administrative tasks and paperwork as needed.

Perform other duties as assigned.
