Job Description
KBW Financial Staffing is working with a client in the Portland, ME area looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team. This position is fully on-site and is paying between $85,000-$105,000 depending on experience. The responsibilities for this role will include: Support month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting. Analyze account activity and financial results, research discrepancies, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting. Assist with audits, budgeting, financial analysis, and ongoing accounting projects while identifying opportunities to improve processes and controls.
