Accounting Description:
Responsible for general accounting functions including maintaining general ledger and account reconciliations. Will involve assisting with monthly closings, account analysis and resolving account discrepancies through collaboration with internal departments.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and analyze financial statements Conduct reconciliations of balance sheet and general ledger accounts Perform account analysis to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data Assist in the preparation of financial reports for management Research and correct billing, inventory, and tax discrepancies Assist with monthly close and preparation of budgets Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with GAAP, procedures, and regulations Provide support during external audits Assist with special projects as needed
Required Skill Set:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting Minimum of 6 years of relevant accounting experience Prior accounting Team Lead experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office required, other accounting software a plus Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles Ability to perform financial analysis and provide insights to support decision-making Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and complete assignments within deadlines Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis EEO/ADA
