Full Job Description Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team at Hamzavi Dermatology in Clinton Twp. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting knowledge, excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with leadership and other departments.
Essential Responsibilities:
Financial reporting and analysis General ledger journal entries Account reconciliation Month-end and year-end close Process improvement and automation Payroll processing Assist with annual audits and provide requested documentation Maintain confidentiality of financial and organizational information Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Accounting required 10+ years of cumulative career accounting experience Experience with general ledger accounting and financial statement preparation Strong excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables and financial reporting Experience with accounting software such as Sage Intacct, QuickBooks, Peachtree or other accounting software Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience in healthcare or medical practice preferred Experience with ADP preferred
Hours:
Full-time Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week (In-person or remote with a minimum of 2 days per week in office)
