Job Description

Overview:
Looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our team and play an important role in supporting our financial operations. The Accountant will prepare financial statements, examine, and analyze the company's accounts and ensure compliance with financial reporting and accounting procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Prepare assets, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information. + Document financial transactions and assign entries to proper accounts. + Support and prepare Financial Statements in a timely manner. + Develop reports that support the board for making decisions. + Perform service to internal and external customers. + Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenue, financial commitments, and obligations to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice. + Analyze and monitor Budget Balance. + Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information. + Develop and review the financial reconciliations Accounts Receivable - Accounts Payable and Taxes. + Maintain financial security by following internal controls. + Prepare payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements. + Comply with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions. + Prepare special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends. + Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns while ensuring compliance with payments and other tax regulations. + Other duties as assigned.
Must Haves:
+ Bachelor and/or equivalent degree in Accounting or Finance or related field or combination of schooling and on the job experience. + Ability to speak Korean is a plus but not required + 3-5 years experience in a similar role + MS office skills + Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures per GAAP Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Farmington Hills, MI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $70000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
