8am-5pm Japanese company specialized in Automotive interior, and components is seeking a detail-oriented Cost Analyst to support financial planning and cost management activities within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for analyzing cost and revenue data, supporting budgeting processes, and providing insights that drive business decisions. Key Responsibilities Perform standard cost calculations and support pricing reviews and negotiations Analyze production cost variances and monitor KPIs Support Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) analysis and financial reporting Evaluate cost impacts from engineering changes and new product developments Contribute to budgeting activities (material, freight, scrap, labor) Maintain and update cost data in ERP systems (QAD preferred) Review and validate Bill of Materials (BOM) accuracy Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations and finance Identify opportunities for process improvements, including automation and AI tools May be assigned other duties by managers Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field ~3 years of experience in cost accounting or manufacturing finance Strong understanding of financial statements and cost accounting principles Skills Advanced Excel proficiency Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent communication and collaboration skills High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
