Senior Accountant - Full-Time Engagement ProfessionalsRobert Half is seeking experienced Senior Accountants to join our Full-Time Engagement Professionals practice in the Fort Worth area.

This is a unique opportunity for accounting professionals who enjoy variety, solving problems, and making an immediate impact while still having the stability of full-time employment.

What is a Full-Time Engagement Professional?

Full-Time Engagement Professionals are permanent Robert Half employees who work with our clients on accounting and finance projects, interim needs, and special initiatives. You work with one client at a time and bring your expertise to organizations that need additional support, continuity, or specialized accounting knowledge.

Projects may include supporting companies during unexpected vacancies or leaves, month-end and year-end close, audit preparation, reconciliations, process improvement, system implementations, backlog cleanup, and other accounting initiatives.

What You'll DoAs a Senior Accountant, responsibilities will vary by engagement and may include:
  • Month-end and year-end close
  • General ledger accounting and journal entries
  • Balance sheet and bank reconciliations
  • Financial statement preparation and analysis
  • Fixed assets and depreciation
  • Accruals and account analysis
  • Audit preparation and support
  • Process documentation and improvement
  • ERP or accounting system implementations and conversions
  • Cleanup and special accounting projects
  • Supporting Controllers and accounting leadership during periods of transition or increased workload
