Senior Financial Analyst -Accounting Minimum 3+ Years experience in Public Accounting / Corporate Accounting Venteon is currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst -Accounting to fill an opening with an Industry Leader and Employer of Choice with headquarters in the Metro Detroit area. The ideal candidate will be a critical contributor to the company s overall financial success. Requirements of the Senior Financial Analyst -Accounting Bachelor s degree required in Accounting or Finance. 3+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in public accounting Master s degree or CPA qualification is a plus SAP and OneStream experience preferred Demonstrated leadership, teamwork and communication (written and verbal) skills Strong initiative to improve processes and gain efficiency while maintaining objectives Good organizational skills Must be able to work in a team environment Highly driven / self-starter Benefits of the Senior Financial Analyst -Accounting Salary Bonus Eligible Position Full time position Hybrid position Paid time off Medical / Dental / Vision 401k Life Insurance Company perks Responsibilities of the Senior Financial Analyst -Accounting The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for the month-end close process, account reconciliations, forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting. This role will report to the Senior Manager, Technical and Corporate Accounting. Key Responsibilities Lead and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial results Prepare, review, and analyze journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation for assigned areas Monitor balance sheet and income statement accounts, investigate variances, and resolve accounting issues Review accounts receivable aging with shared service center to identify past due items and drive resolution Coordinate the annual budget and monthly forecasting processes for corporate functions Perform ad hoc projects as needed for the corporate accounting and corporate reporting teams Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, company accounting policies, and internal control requirements If you are a high performer and would like to work for an equally high performing company and you think the above opportunity is appropriate for you, we invite you to apply to this job and email your resume to kroehrig@venteon.com We treat all resumes with strict confidentiality.
