Full Charge Bookkeeper / Accountant ?? Warren, MI (On-site) | ?? Full-Time, Salaried Grinders Clearing House, Inc. (GCH)—an established industrial machinery manufacturer with 60+ years in business—is seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper / Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations and support senior leadership. Key Responsibilities Oversee Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Prepare monthly financial statements, cash forecasts, budgets, and variance reports Perform account reconciliations (bank, fixed assets, accruals, prepaid expenses) Manage job costing and financial analysis Coordinate year-end tax prep with external CPA Maintain vendor records and prepare annual 1099s Track loan covenants and lender reporting requirements Support basic HR functions (benefits coordination, payroll changes, PTO tracking) Qualifications 5+ years accounting or full-charge bookkeeping experience Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills Detail-oriented, organized, and deadline-driven Excellent communication and collaboration skills Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary (based on experience) Medical & dental insurance 401(k) retirement plan
