Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant or CPA to join our dynamic team. This full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where your expertise will directly impact our clients' financial health. You will be responsible for managing complex accounting functions, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing insightful financial analysis. Responsibilities Manage client records from beginning to end — bookkeeping, account reconciliation, financial statement preparation, and full-cycle accounting Prepare and review individual, business, trust, and gift tax returns Manage a client caseload and serve as a primary point of contact for tax planning and compliance matters Research complex tax issues and provide strategic recommendations to clients Collaborate with firm partners and staff on client engagements Stay current on federal and state tax law changes Maintain and troubleshoot client books in QuickBooks Online Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook required Qualifications Proven recent experience in a public accounting firm Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite—particularly Excel— Familiarity with financial concepts such as debits & credits, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliation, and general ledger management. Experience working with financial software such as QuickBooks Desktop and Online Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data accurately.
