Temporary / Project-Based Requirements of theGeneral Ledger Accountant:
Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. 3-5 years of hands-on accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing organization . Strong experience performing general ledger and balance sheet account reconciliations . Solid understanding of accounting principles, journal entries, and month-end close procedures. Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including experience working with formulas, lookups, and PivotTables. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet project deadlines. Ability to start work quickly. Key Responsibilities Lead a short term account reconciliation project Perform detailed general ledger and balance sheet account reconciliations . Review account activity and supporting documentation to identify discrepancies, aged items, and unreconciled balances. Research and resolve accounting variances and outstanding reconciliation items. Review general ledger activity for accuracy, appropriate account classification, and completeness. Assist with accounting clean-up initiatives and resolution of outstanding account issues. Provide status updates regarding completed reconciliations, outstanding items, and issues requiring management review.
