Job Description
Pay:
$45-$55/hr Mon-Fri 8am-5pm Contract to Hire ASAP Start Key Responsibilities Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Lead month-end and year-end close activities, ensuring accuracy and timely completion. Perform complex account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies. Prepare and record journal entries in accordance with company policies and GAAP. Maintain and analyze general ledger accounts. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Support internal and external audit requests. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies. Monitor and improve accounting processes and procedures. Assist with cash management, fixed asset accounting, and accrual calculations. Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and operational teams. Prepare supporting schedules and reports for management review. Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 3-7+ years of progressive accounting experience. Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles. Experience managing month-end close and account reconciliations. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
