We're partnering with a growing manufacturing company seeking a Senior Accountant to join its collaborative finance team. This role offers a unique opportunity to build upon a strong general accounting foundation while gaining valuable experience in inventory and cost accounting. What You'll Be Doing Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting Support inventory accounting and help ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts and analysis Partner with operations to analyze manufacturing costs and inventory-related variances Assist with product costing, standard costing, and new product introductions Help develop and improve costing processes, documentation, and reporting Participate in the annual manufacturing budget and standard cost process Support cross-functional teams through financial analysis and operational reporting Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls Assist with process improvement initiatives as the finance team continues to evolve What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment Experience with general ledger accounting and month-end close Inventory accounting experience strongly preferred Cost accounting experience is not required —this role offers the opportunity to develop those skills ERP experience (Deacom, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Epicor, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) preferred Strong Excel and analytical skills Self-motivated with a desire to learn, grow, and continuously improve Why Consider This Opportunity?
