Finance interns at Andersen support the enterprise's financial operations while gaining practical experience. Typical duties involve assisting with budget preparation, generating financial reports, reconciling ledger accounts, and processing transactions. The role bridges academic concepts with real-world corporate execution.Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting & Analysis:
Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements and track KPIs.Accounts Payable/Receivable:
Process invoices, match purchase orders, and record daily cash receipts.Budgeting & Forecasting:
Help the financial team run data reports to ensure budget allocations align with company goals.Auditing & Compliance:
Assist staff with month-end closes and pull data for internal and external audits.Common Qualifications & Requirements Education:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a standard requirement; familiarity with ERP systems (like Oracle or SAP) or accounting software (like QuickBooks) is a plus.Soft Skills:
Strong analytical abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent time management.COMPENSATION
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process.
