Pay Rate:

$52,000 starting salary

SUMMARY:

To maintain the general ledger system and assist with month-end close. Responsible for a high level of guest service as described in your departments guest service standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in the preparation of month-end close information such as journal entries, bank reconciliation and analysis of account balances Reconcile balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis Maintain the general ledger Assist in the preparation of financial report Assist in the preparation of the annual audit Prepare financial analysis of assigned operating departments

KNOWLEDGE AND CERTIFICATION, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Knowledge and Certification Required:

2 year degree in Accounting or related field and 2 years accounting experience; or a combination of equivalent experience and/or education

Preferred:

4 year degree in Accounting or related field

Skills Required:

Accurate and detail-oriented Highly organized and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities Strong computer skills Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook), Windows XP, and General Ledger Software preferably Great Plains Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills Above average math skills

Abilities Required:

Ability to follow established dress code policies and practice good personal hygiene Ability to interact with guests, coworkers and management in a professional and courteous manner Ability to remain focused for extended periods of time

REQUIRED TRAINING

Treasure Island guest service training Software programs and systems used by Accounting Any position-related training as determined by department manager

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must be able to sit for long periods of time with infrequent amounts of walking and standing Must have a good sense of balance, and be able to bend, kneel and stoop infrequently Must be able to reach and twist infrequently Must be able to push, pull and grasp objects occasionally Must have the ability to independently lift up to 10 pounds occasionally Must be able to perform repetitive hand and wrist motions Must have good eye hand coordination

WORKING ENVIRONMENT
