Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Lead monthly close activities by preparing entries, reviewing financial activity, and helping ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Maintain the general ledger by recording transactions properly and supporting the integrity of account balances.
- Prepare and post journal entries with appropriate documentation and alignment to accounting standards.
- Perform account reconciliations on a recurring basis to identify discrepancies and resolve outstanding items.
- Complete bank reconciliations and investigate variances to keep cash activity current and accurate.
- Support project-related accounting tasks, including tracking financial activity tied to contracts, jobs, or client engagements.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to provide financial information, clarify account activity, and improve reporting accuracy.
- Utilize Deltek or a similar global accounting system to manage financial records and support day-to-day accounting operations.
