Job Description

Panera is actively seeking a Property Accountant to be responsible for preparing lease accounting related journal entries and account reconciliations, processing rental payments and year-end common area maintenance, real estate tax, and insurance reconciliations, and providing any needed support for other departments within the organization. Duties & Responsibilities Process various leasing related invoices and reconciliations in a timely manner. Process monthly rent for leased cafes. Calculate and journalize real estate tax and common area maintenance accruals. Complete monthly account reconciliations. Assist in gathering documentation for internal and external audits of assets and related internal controls. Perform lease accounting subledger procedures for period-end close. Communication with bakery-cafes and district managers as well as support center accountants for proper recording of lease accounting expenditures. Qualifications (Education & Experience) Bachelor's degree required - Accounting preferred. 1-2 years of experience in accounting is preferred. Ability to process a high volume of invoices and reconciliations, and multi-task. Ability to use critical thinking to make decisions. Ability to communicate with many different levels of people in and outside the company. Strong organizational and follow-up skills with keen attention to detail. Strong computer skills, intermediate to advanced skills in Excel. Ability to work well independently with expanding duties and responsibilities. Skilled in customer service and problem resolution. Working Conditions Required travel - none. Physical Requirements While performing this job, the incumbent is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear & use hands and fingers to operate keyboards. Need to be comfortable and willing to move furniture and reconfigure meetings rooms as needed. Weight requirement minimum of 35 lbs. Direct Reports This position will have 0 direct reports.
Additional Description :
Competitive pay $53,419 to $64,108 annually.
