Position summary : Responsible for multiple functions in general ledger, accounts payable, materials management, payroll, and monthly financials for the Hospital and Total Family Healthcare. Role qualifications : Bachelor's Degree in accounting 2 years comparable accounting experience Position responsibilities : Daily and monthly account balancing. Reconcile and record monthly rural health clinic activities. Calculate monthly accounts receivable allowances. Reconcile general ledger to supporting schedules and subsidiary ledgers. Prepare monthly manual journal entries for prepaid expenses, allowances, payroll, withholdings, etc. Prepare month end worksheets and generate monthly financial statements. Update the fixed asset listing when items are purchased or disposed of. Process monthly depreciation and run monthly reports. Assist with annual financial statement audit and Medicare/Medicaid cost report preparation; prepare related schedules. Input yearly budget. Assist departments with charging issues as well as charge entry. Manage chargemaster for hospital and TFHC to comply with Price Transparency regulations. Manage monthly invoicing and payment for Specialty Clinics space rental. Work closely with materials management, accounts payable, payroll, and patient accounts areas to offer troubleshooting and training. Prepare quarterly physician RVU reports. Assist with payroll, as needed. Prepare various surveys/reports. Perform other related duties as assigned. Essential skills : Time management: the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong team player. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and general computer proficiency. Self-motivated.
