TITLE:
Staff Accountant - St. Louis
DEPARTMENT

SUMMARY OF PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Staff Accountant supports the Accounting Manager (Americas) and management team with timely and accurate financial statements for Healthcare Components Group St. Louis, including the Costa Rica Manufacturing and Japan R&D facilities. This will include, but is not limited to, accounting, budgeting, compliance, and KPIs.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Manages the daily cash book within the ERP and provides daily cash reporting updates Manages fixed assets and construction in process Responsible for closing entries and review of GL accounts for variances Prepares monthly balance sheet reconciliations and reserve analysis Assists in supporting documentation for public audit Supports the development of forecasts and annual budget Identifies and assists with process improvements to business unit reporting Assists in the preparation of sales tax returns Participates in cross functional team meetings to improve business results Supports the accounting processes including: General accounting Fixed assets Inventory Accounts payable Accounts receivable
EXPERIENCE/SKILL/EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate for this role will have the following qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting Strong GAAP knowledge 0-3 years of experience Experience in cost and inventory accounting a plus Sales and income tax experience a plus Team player, fast learner, and ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines Brings attention to detail, self-starter Effective communication skills (both in groups and one-on-one interaction) Solution-oriented mindset and collaborative work approach; willingness to learn

$60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
