Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accountancy is required. Experience with General Ledger accounting is required. Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial accounting principles. Proficient in MS Office and Excel. Primary Duties/Responsibilities Invoice preparation and completing the vendor invoice package within 2 business days. Must ensure that all agency policies and procedures are followed. Coordinates, prepares, and verifies supporting documentation to ensure accurate / timely invoice package preparation and general ledger recording. Input vendor invoices in accounting software. Serves as liaison between MERS/Missouri Goodwill and vendors. General ledger maintenance and aids with month end closing. Performs monthly aging review with Accounts Payable Supervisor. Performs other duties as assigned. Benefits Individual and family medical benefits for full-time employees working 30 or more hours per week.
