Our client, a well-established construction contractor, is seeking a Project Accountant to join its accounting team. This role supports project accounting, customer billings, job costing, month-end close, and financial reporting while partnering closely with project managers and operations. The ideal candidate has experience in construction accounting and is proficient with Viewpoint (Vista). Responsibilities Process progress billings, T&M billings, unit-price billings, and change orders Partner with Project Managers to ensure timely and accurate customer billing Monitor accounts receivable and assist with collections Review job costs and support project cost reporting Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and intercompany transactions Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end close Maintain accurate accounting records and support financial reporting Assist with vendor setup and other accounting functions as needed Qualifications Accounting experience within the construction industry Hands-on experience with Viewpoint (Vista) ERP software preferred Experience with job costing, project billing/progress billing, and month-end close Strong understanding of general accounting principles and account reconciliations Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience (preferred) Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills Ability to work onsite in
