Senior Accountant
Job Description
This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys taking ownership of their work, managing multiple priorities, and working in a fast-paced environment. In This Role Maintain and balance the general ledger, including daily transactions and journal entries. Assist with monthly financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close. Process payroll and reconcile payroll taxes and benefits. Reconcile and remit sales tax and contractors' tax. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable. Work with project managers on accurate job costing and revenue recognition. Assist with cash flow management. Prepare documentation for external audits and financial reviews. Help ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable financial regulations. What We Are Looking For 2-5 years of accounting experience. Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Strong understanding of financial statements and cost accounting. Knowledge of payroll taxes and sales tax. Understanding of accrual accounting, percentage-of-completion revenue recognition, and job cost reporting. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks. Excellent attention to detail and time-management skills. Ability to work independently, take ownership, and adapt to shifting priorities. #IND2
