We specialize in reliable, eco-conscious equipment rentals that help our clients operate safely and sustainably. Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our finance team. This role is ideal for a professional with 3-6 years of experience who is comfortable handling day-to-day accounting operations, supporting month-end close, and contributing to process improvements in a fast-paced, asset-intensive environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare and maintain accurate financial records in accordance with GAAP Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations Manage fixed asset accounting, including depreciation schedules for rental equipment Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts Support accounts payable and receivable functions as needed Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements Collaborate with operations teams to track equipment utilization and cost allocation Assist with audits and provide documentation as required What We Offer Competitive salary Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holidays Opportunities for professional growth and development A collaborative, mission-driven work environment focused on sustainability Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 3-6 years of accounting experience Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting Experience with ERP/accounting systems (NetSuite experience is a plus) Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Excellent communication and teamwork skills Preferred Qualifications CPA or CPA candidate Experience in equipment rental, construction, or environmental services industries Familiarity with fixed asset management
