Senior Accountant Full-Time | Non-Exempt
    Wage:
    DOE At Action Inc., every role contributes to strengthening individuals, families, and communities throughout Southwest Montana. Our Accounting team helps make that work possible by ensuring agency resources are managed accurately, responsibly, and with care. As our Senior Accountant, you'll work under the direction of the CFO to support the day-to-day financial operations and reporting. What You'll Do Support the CFO and Accounting team in maintaining accurate, timely, and well-organized financial operations. Prepare and analyze financial reports and information. Perform monthly bank reconciliations. Prepare/review accounting journal entries. Reconcile weatherization jobs. Perform account reconciliations and help identify and resolve discrepancies. Support the annual external audit and program monitoring by compiling requested documentation and information. Review and approve accounts payable, cash disbursements, and other transactions. Prepare and enter grant/program budgets. Maintain accurate, organized, and confidential financial records and perform other related duties as assigned.
    Requirements:
    What You'll Bring Accounting education and experience. Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field is preferred, but relevant experience will be considered. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other computer applications; accounting software experience preferred. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
