Description We are looking for an Accountant to own cost accounting, inventory valuation, month-end close, and variance analysis while partnering closely with plant leadership. This role offers the opportunity to have a direct impact on plant performance, drive process improvements, and grow within a strong manufacturing organization.

Responsibilities:

+ Manage standard costs, inventory valuation, and ERP accuracy

+ Analyze manufacturing variances, scrap, and inventory reserves

+ Lead month-end close, reconciliations, accruals, and plant P& L reporting

+ Provide variance analysis and key financial/operational metrics

+ Support budgeting, forecasting, pricing, capital projects, and production planning

+ Track capital expenditures and maintain fixed asset records

+ Ensure GAAP/internal control compliance and support audits

+ Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency Requirements

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. + 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or cost accounting environment.

+ Strong understanding of standard costing, inventory valuation, and manufacturing variance analysis.

+ Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
